Ohio State won the event with an 852, as host Florida Atlantic (863), Florida Gulf Coast (867), Miami of Ohio (869), Minnesota (870), DePaul (871), Nebraska (872), Marshall (894), Michigan State (894) and Marquette (894) made up the top-10.
The Racers have played well this spring and the FAU tournament was a good chance to compete against some of the nation's best teams.
“We did some good things over the three days and our game is coming on,” said MSU Head Coach Eddie Hunt. “You can see our team gaining more confidence and that will mean a lot when we get to the OVC Championship in about a month. This was a good event to play in because of the depth of the field of teams.”
The Racers won the OVC Championship in 2010 and will look for another April 25-27 at Greystone GC in Dickson, Tenn.
In between now and then, MSU plays the Big Blue Intercollegiate April 4-5 and the ASU Red Wolves Classic April 11-12.
