Racers Begin Play At Ole Miss Intercollegiate

MSU's first round 309 had the team in 13th place tied with Memphis and ahead of 15th place at Missouri (310), Mississippi State (314), South Florida (315) and Rollins (317).
The Ole Miss GC is playing 6,351 yards and a par of 72.
Round two starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Ole Miss.
The Murray State women's golf team began competition Friday at the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss., at the Ole Miss Golf Club.
MSU's Delaney Howson led the way with a first round even par 72 for a spot in seventh place in the field of 96 competitors, while Morgan Cross carded a 76 for a spot in 31st place. Alli Weaver had an 80 and was in 71st place with Caroline Lagerborg in 77th place with an 81. Alexandra Lennartsson and Alexandra Hinteregger were in 92nd place after each had an 86. Hinteregger is playing the event as an individual.

Tennessee was the first round leader at 290, with Ole Miss (298), Maryland (298) Coastal Carolina (298) and Tulane (299) making up the top-5. Tulsa was in sixth place at 300 followed by Michigan (301), Southern Mississippi (303), UCF (304), SMU (306), Kansas (308) and ETSU (308).
