Men’s Tennis Gets Ready for 2011 OVC Championship

The Murray State men's tennis team will be making its third-straight trip to the 2011 Ohio Valley Conference Tennis Championship when it travels to Paducah, Ky., Friday, April 15 to face Tennessee Tech. The Racers (5-14, 2-5 OVC) are the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will face the No. 3 Golden Eagles at 2 p.m. at the Lone Oak Tennis Center.

When the teams met in Murray, Ky., earlier this season, TTU earned a 5-2 victory. The Racers and the Golden Eagles meet in the semifinals of the 2010 OVC Championship, where TTU advanced with a 4-1 win.

Senior Renaldo Domoney is 2-0 in singles play and 2-2 in doubles action (with Luka Milicevic). Jorge Caetano has a 2-2 singles mark and a 4-0 mark in doubles action.
