Racers Continue Spring Season At UT Martin 7 v 7 Tournament
Jillian Russell led Murray State with a goal and an assist, and Shauna Wicker and Sophie Hargreaves each added a goal as the Racers earned a 3-2 win against Bethel .
Wicker kicked off scoring for the Racers, putting a header into the net off of a free kick taken by Maja Nordahl.
Russell recorded the second MSU strike of the game, scoring on her own after dribbling down the right side to grab an unassisted goal.
Hargreaves gave the Racers the game-winner, scoring after a tackle from Russell gave her possession and slotted the ball past the Bethel goalkeeper.
The Racers continue spring action this weekend, traveling to Martin, Tenn., for the UT Martin 7v7 Tournament.
