Howson & Cross Earn All-OVC Women's Golf Honors

The Murray State women's golf team had two student-athletes named to the 2010-11 All-Ohio Valley Conference Golf Team at the annual awards banquet after round one of this year's championship in Dickson, Tenn.
The Murray State women's golf team had two student-athletes named to the 2010-11 All-Ohio Valley Conference Golf Team at the annual awards banquet after round one of this year's championship in Dickson, Tenn.
MSU's Delaney Howson, from Newmarket, Ontario, was named OVC Freshman of the Year and to the OVC First Team, while junior Morgan Cross, of Elizabethtown, Ky., was named to the OVC Second Team.
Each Racer has had an excellent 2010-11 season as Howson ranks seventh in the OVC with a 76.5 scoring average, while Cross is 15th in the league at 78.3. Cross was also named to the All-OVC Newcomer Team in 2008-09.
