Four Racer players made the top-5 of the event and this earned all-tournament honors in the field of 63 players and 10 teams.

“We played very well over these three rounds and found a way to win the tournament,” MSU Head Coach Velvet Milkman said. “I thought today we dealt with the pressure of carrying a lead into the final 18 very well. This is a great start for our team in winning the season opener, so now we'll go back to work and keep building on it.”
MSU's 890 topped their record winning score in the inaugural Drake Creek event of 893 in 2009.
Morehead State's Marisa Kamelgarn was the medalist of the event with scores of 71-73=71=215.
