Soccer Picks Up NSCAA Academic Award

Murray State Women's soccer received it's fifth straight National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for posting a 3.35 team GPA in Fall 2010/Spring 2011. Over the last five years, head coach Beth Acreman's program has averaged a 3.37 team GPA and led the nation in 2007.
"I am always proud of my team's performance in the classroom," Acreman said. "Receiving this award over the last five years has shown the importance that our program puts on success in our team's academic endeavors. This award highlights the true meaning of student-athlete and is a tribute to my players hard work and commitment in the classroom. This award is also a testament to the quality guidance and teaching they receive at Murray State."
