Softball Rained Out at Arkansas

Rainy weather continued to wreak havoc on Murray State softball as the Racers and Razorbacks were rained out of a pair of games Thursday afternoon at Bogle Park in Fayetteville, Ark.

Light rain started falling after the Racers took a 1-0 lead in the first on a Leslie Bridges single up the middle to score Mo Ramsey.

MSU out-hit host Arkansas six to one through two and a half innings before the game was delayed at 1:54 with an Arkansas base runner on second base with nobody out in the bottom of the third.

The Racers return to action this weekend, hosting OVC-leader UT Martin for three games. First pitch Saturday and Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m.
