The quest for an Ohio Valley Conference women's golf championship will require a hefty comeback if the Murray State Racers are to claim their ninth title at GreyStone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.

Eastern Kentucky was in fourth place at 310, while Austin Peay (316), Tennessee Tech (330) and Eastern Illinois (330) made up the rest of the field.
MSU's Cross and Lennartsson were four shots off the first round lead of Jacksonville State's Lourdes Lopez Caballo who had a 1-under-par 71.
The GreyStone course is playing 5,964 yards and to a par of 72 this week for the OVC Championship.
