Soccer Earns MSU Academic Award

Murray State soccer was awarded with the MSU Team Academic Award at Monday's Student-Athlete Advisory Council awards dinner.
The award is presented to the team with the highest collective grade-point average. Women's soccer achieved a 3.47 GPA.
"I am very proud of our team for their efforts in the classroom," head coach Beth Acreman said. "This award is a tribute to their hard work and commitment to their studies. We have great academic support staff in our athletic department and this award is also a recognition for their hard work and continued support of our program. It's not only about our player's doing well on the field that is important to me, it is also the commitment to receiving their degree and this award is a great accomplishment for us."
