Racers Close Out Preseason Against MTSU At Cutchin Field

The Murray State soccer team lost its preseason finale Sunday afternoon at Cutchin Field as the Racers fell to Middle Tennessee State 3-0. The two teams played three 30-minute periods in the exhibition.
“I thought our possession was much better this game,” said head coach Beth Acreman. “It's not exactly where I'd like it to be but right now with the lack of substitutes we have, our girls are being asked to play a lot of minutes.”
Yi Du recorded seven saves in the game. Tory Pitts led Murray State with two shots in the contest including one on goal. Paige Goeglein scored two goals in the victory for the Blue Raiders.
