Racers Women's Golf in Eighth At Mississippi State Intercollegiate

Murray State women's golf carded a 316 Tuesday and fell to eighth place at the Mississippi State Intercollegiate at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss.
The Racers' 312 came a day after they posted a 302 as their 618 total was nine shots off the pace of seventh place Kennesaw State at 609. MSU led ninth place South Florida at 621 and Memphis at 625.
Delaney Howson was MSU's best player through 36 holes with a spot in 11th place with scores of 72-75=147. Alexandra Lennartsson was in 14th place with scores of 74-75=149 in the field of 62 players, while Alli Weaver was in 50th place with rounds of 80-81=161. Abbi Stamper was in 53rd place with scores of 76-88=164, while Sophie Hillier had scores of 84-85=169 for a spot in and was in 57th place.
Arkansas (585) passed Tulane (586) for the lead in round two, while Kentucky (588), Mississippi State (598) and Cincinnati (607) made up the top-5.
Gina Nuzzo is playing as an individual for the Racers in the event and was in 60th place with rounds of 90-85=175.
Tulane's Gemma Dryburgh was the leader with scores of 69-70=139.
The final round is set for Wednesday morning. The Old Waverly course is playing 6,199 yards and at a par of 72
