Pinkham Wins OVC Defender of the Week

Murray State defender Halle Pinkham was named the ADIDAS Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week on Tuesday afternoon, announced by the league office. Pinkham led a Racer defense that recorded its third-straight shutout on Sunday.
Pinkham played all 90 minutes as the Racers defeated Austin Peay, 1-0 to open conference play. Murray State has not allowed a goal in over 295 minutes of play. Pinkham and MSU hit the road this weekend for a pair of games. The Racers face Southeast Missouri on Friday night at 6:30, and will play UT Martin at 2 p.m.
