Mix Earns OVC Co-Specialist of the Week Honors

Senior punter Steven Mix pinned Austin Peay inside its own five-yard line three times in the first half, and for his efforts he was selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Specialist of the Week.
Mix averaged 41.8 yards on his five punts, four of which were downed inside the 20-yard line. Mix booted a 58-yard punt that was downed at the four-yard line, and then followed it up with a 48 yarder that was downed at the three. Â
On the season, Mix is averaging 42.1 yards on 47 punts. He has eight punts greater than 50 yards and 18 of his punts have been downed inside the 20-yard line.
