Women’s Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

For the seventh time in seven years, the Murray State women's soccer team has earned the NSCAA College Team Academic Award. The award was given to college teams that turned in a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 for the 2012-13 academic year.

The Racers finished last year with a team GPA of 3.47 and were one of nine OVC teams to win the award. Nationally, 593 women's teams and 270 men's team earned the honor this season across all levels of collegiate competition for a grand total of 863 teams. Murray State has now earned the award every season since 2007.
