Breds Add White to Recruiting Class

Murray State head coach Rob McDonald announced the addition of right-handed pitcher Jeremiah White to this year's signing class. White joins Kipp Moore and Quentin Urban, who signed last week.
 "We have been watching Jeremiah for quite some time, and we are thrilled to announce his singing with our program," said McDonald. "He is a very good athlete and has a tremendous arm. We feel Jeremiah's best baseball is ahead of him."
White will join the Breds after closing out his prep career at Paducah Tilghman High School. He played his junior season for head coach Chris Johnson, after playing the previous three years for head coach Micky Holland. White earned third-team all-state honors after allowing just 43 hits over 74 innings. He also hit .371 with 22 RBIs. He is a three-time all-district selection, while being selected to the all-region team last season.
"Jeremiah is a natural leader in every sense of the word," said Johnson. "He is an outstanding role model for his peers and other student athletes. Jeremiah's hard work and dedication go above and beyond the norm, not only on the baseball field but in the classroom as well. Murray State is getting an extremely talented young man that will be an asset to the program for years to come."
