Haberman Bookends 2013 as OVC Keeper of the Week

After earning, the very first adidas® OVC Goalkeeper of the Week of the 2013 season, it was only fitting that Savannah Haberman capped off her first collegiate season in the same fashion. The freshman earned the honor for a league-high third time this season, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

The Rineyville, Ky., native had a record week as she withstood a peppering by Austin Peay to make 23 saves in Murray State's lone contest of the week. Despite allowing one goal, Haberman helped lead MSU to a 2-1 victory and set new OVC and Murray State single-game save records in the process. The 23 saves Sunday places her final total number of saves for the season at 111, which is a new MSU single-season record.
