Tennis Finishes Fall Slate

Murray State men's tennis concluded their fall schedule hosting the Murray-Kenlake Invitational. In addition to the Racers, OVC rival Jacksonville State and Western Kentucky were a part of the weekend.
For the first time this season, all eight Racers competed. Everyone on the roster played in three singles and three doubles matches. Senior Adam Taylor went 1-2 in singles matches and teamed with Max McLean to go 3-0 in doubles.
Two other doubles teams picked up wins. Aleks and Nicholas Mitric earned a victory and a pair of freshmen, David Hess and Preston O'Donley, also recorded a win.
Seeing his first collegiate action, freshman Anjan Kashyab picked up two wins in singles play.
The Racers are off until 2014 when they begin their dual portion of the schedule. Their first match is scheduled for Jan. 18 at Middle Tennessee.Â
