Duncan Named to Academic All-District Football Team

Murray State redshirt sophomore long snapper Christian Duncan was selected to the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-District 2 Football Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. He will now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first, second and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
Duncan (Murray, Ky.) is in his second year as the team's long snapper and owns a 3.94 grade-point average in biology/pre-dental. In his two seasons, Duncan has not had a bad snap on 228 attempts. He was credited with one tackle during the 2012 season, and has three tackles on punt coverage this season.
Duncan came to MSU after graduating as the Valedictorian at Murray High School.
