Men's Tennis Drops Match to Lipscomb

The Murray State men's tennis squad dropped a non-conference tilt on Friday night, losing to Lipscomb 7-0 at the Kenlake Tennis Center.
The doubles tandem of Adam Taylor and Ryan Kennedy picked up the Racers (0-8) lone victory of the match. Taylor and Kennedy defeated Lipscomb's Oliver Strecker and David Salazar at number one doubles 8-4.
In singles play, Taylor and Joao Camara lost at number one and three, respectively 6-4 and 6-2. Tyler Jeffers was defeated at number two singles 6-3, 6-3. Max McLean fell at number four 7-6 and 6-0. While Kennedy and Nicholas Mitric lost their eight-game pro set matches 9-7 and 8-4, respectively at five and six singles.
The Racers have a long break now until they return to action on March 12 when Bethel comes to Murray.
