Racer Golf Adds Saturday Match Against SIU At Dalhousie GC

The Murray State women's golf team has added two 18-hole matches with the Southern Illinois Salukis for Saturday (March 30) in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and against Austin Peay (April 13) in Hopkinsville, Ky.

When MSU and SIU meet Saturday, they'll be playing a Dalhousie Golf Club course that has been voted the top course in Missouri. The Gary Nicklaus design opened in 2002 and has been named the top course in the Show Me State four times from 2007-10.

“These two dual matches will be good for us to get out and play against top competition,” MSU Head Coach Velvet Milkman said. “We're really excited about the opportunity to play Dalhousie, one of the top courses in Missouri. It's great that our team has the chance to play at such a great venue.”

The Racers and Salukis will play Dalhousie from 6,194 yards and a par of 72.

MSU's April 13^th match with the Lady Govs takes place at The Links at Novadel Golf Club in Hopkinsville, Ky.
