Howson Earns OVC Golfer Of The Week For Second Straight Time

Murray State's Delaney Howson was honored as the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office.
Howson, a junior from Newmarket, Ontario, fired rounds of 78-81-76 to finish at 235 (+19) and grab a spot in eighth place at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate held at the Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga.
Howson competed against a field of 76 competitors, including two other OVC squads, and battled tough playing conditions.
It marked the second-straight week that Howson has earned OVC Golfer of the Week honors. She currently ranks fifth in the OVC in stroke average (76.2).
