Hosey Added to 2013 Soccer Class

Murray State Head Soccer Coach Beth Acreman has added another player to her 2013 class. Alexa Hosey, a transfer from the University of South Florida was signed earlier in the week. Hosey is a native of Port Orange, Fla., and played club soccer for the Ponte Vedra Storm, and won numerous regional and national championships.
Hosey was named the Volusia County High School player of the year her freshman season. She also set the single-season scoring record with 35 goals in high school. Hosey redshirted at USF and was also selected to the US National Team youth pool.
"We are really excited to add Alexa to our 2013 class,” said Acreman. “She will add a physical presence for us up top next season. Her experience at USF will bring maturity to our team and we are looking for her to contribute as a leader on and off the field.”
“She has a determined and disciplined personality which will allow her to have a great impact on our team and in our conference."
