Five Racers to Compete at 104th Drake Relays

Five Racers will be traveling this weekend to Des Moines, Iowa for the 104th running of the historic Drake Relays.
The Racers will be competing in four events at the relays, with all four events beginning on Friday. Sharda Bettis will be kicking things off for Murray State in the prelims of the 100-meter hurdles. The prelims are scheduled to begin at 9:32 a.m. Friday. Finals of the event will be at 2:38 Saturday afternoon.
Bettis, Alexis Love, Hannah McAllister and LaShea Shaw will all be competing in the 4x100 meter relay for the Racers at Drake. Prelims are slated to begin at 10:58 Friday morning with the finals set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
The All-American Love will also be competing solo at the meet for MSU. Love will take the track for the prelims of the 100 meter dash at 12:15 Friday afternoon. If Love advances to the finals, they will be run at 2:23 Saturday afternoon.
Tonia Pratt will be the fifth Racer competing at the relays. Pratt will be competing in the discus Friday afternoon beginning at 2.
