Racers Tackle Round 2 At Ole Miss Intercollegiate

The Murray State women's golf team played round two at the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate at the Ole Miss Golf Course in Oxford, Miss.

Delaney Howson led MSU in the second day of play with a 75 after a first round 78. Her 153 total was good for a spot in 54^th place in the field of 96 competitors.

MSU's Alli Weaver was in 85^th place with rounds of 82-79=161, while Alexandra Lennartsson had a spot in 86^th place with scores of 75-87=162. Abbi Stamper was in 92^nd place with rounds of 82-83=165, while Sophie Hiller was in 94^th place with scores of 86-82=168.

The Racers were in 18^th place with a 636, just behind Memphis (630), Troy (620), Redlands (615) and Southern Mississippi (615). Coastal Carolina was the leader with a 573 with Tulane (579), Baylor (582), LSU (585), East Tennessee State (586), LSU (290) and Mississippi State (588) rounding out the first six squads.

The final round of the Ole Miss event is set for Sunday morning.
