Racer Home Game Public Address Seeks Voices

Murray State University Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of public address announcer for football, men's and women's basketball, as well as volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball for the 2013-14 school year.
Interested persons should submit a cover letter of interest along with a sample of past experience on a tape or CD. For those who do not have a past sample, a demonstration tape/CD is acceptable. The demonstration tape/CD should include the candidate introducing a starting lineup and reading selected messages which will be provided by Racer Athletics.
“We've been fortunate over the past 25-plus years to have someone as talented as Paul Radke handle the bulk of our announcing responsibilities,” said Paul Bubb, associate athletic director. “As we look to the future we may break up the responsibilities, which would also provide for some backup in these various announcing opportunities.”
Stipends are available for the announcing positions and will be negotiated following selection of the successful candidates.
