Acreman Signs Final Addition to 2013 Squad

Natasha Merritt, a transfer from the University of Birmingham will join the Murray State soccer squad for the 2013 season. Merritt has spent the last 12 years playing for Aston Villa LFC in the FA Women's Premier League National Division. Merritt helped lead Aston Villa to the Premier League Cup this May.
"Natasha will bring a wealth of experience to our team this season,” said Head Coach Beth Acreman.
“She has played a vital role at Aston Villa in their midfield and we are really excited to have her join our team. She is a defensive force and ball winner in the middle of the field, and has the ability to connect passes into the attack."
