The Miller Memorial Golf Course will be celebrating its 30^th anniversary with a ribbon cutting of the new greens Friday, Sep. 20.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m.

There will be free hot dogs, chips and other snacks as well as a putting competition for free green fees passes.

New MiniVerde Ultradwarf Bermuda Grass Greens were added to the course in the beginning of August.

The Frances E. Miller Memorial Golf Course is heralded as one of the best in western Kentucky. It measures a total of 6,592 yards from the championship tees and the par-71 course offers a variety of challenges for golfers of all levels.
