Nadine Innes Signs With Racer Golf

Murray State women's golf coach Velvet Milkman announced the signing of Nadine Innes of Rhyl High School in Union, Ky.

Innes will be a freshman in the fall of 2015 with the Racers.

"I am pleased to have Nadine join our Racer golf family," Milkman said. "She is an excellent student and completes at a high level on the golf course. She is a good ball striker and consistently shoots good scores. I am excited to watch her develop over the next four years with the Racers."

Innes had two wins in the fall as a senior at Rhyl including winning the Grant County Invitational with a score of 69 and the Madison Central Invitational where she carded a 72. Additionally, she placed second in the Villa Madonna Invitational and NKAC Conference Championship with scores of 72 and 75.

In the summer of 2014, Innes placed second at the Marion Miley Invitational with scores of 78-75 and finished 10th at the AJGA Sugar Valley Championship with scores of 80-75. She played in the championship flight of the Women's Kentucky State Amateur and the Western Junior Girls Championship.

In 2013 as a junior, she shot a 69 and won the Kentucky Region-6 championship.

Innes was a member of the track & field team at Rhyl and was a member of the National Honor Society and FBLA. She was a participant in the First Tee program of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
