RESULTSÂ
The Murray State women's golf team wrapped up round two this morning of the MSU Ocala Spring Invitational and improved to third place. The tournament is being held at the Juliette Falls Golf Resort in Dunnellon, Florida.

Daytona State College leads the field of 16 teams with a score of 593 to maintain a 3-stroke lead over Houston Baptist University who fired a 596. North Florida tied the Murray State Racers for third place with team scores of 603.

Sydney Trimble continues to lead the Racers after the second round with scores of 73-76=149 for 12th place. Delaney Howson improved to 15th place after firing rounds of 80-71=151 with fellow Racer Jacklyn Van Meter who carded rounds of 75-76=151. In 21st place, Sophie Hillier had scores of 77-75=152 while Minta Yin rounded out team play for the Racers with rounds of 84-82=166 for 79th place.

In individual play, Abbi Stamper fired rounds of 80-76=156 for 43rd place will Gina Nuzzo carded scores of 79-88=167 for 81st place in the field of 92 players.

Other team scores include: Toledo (604), Eastern Kentucky (605), Florida Gulf Coast (607), Stetson (612), Ohio (614), McNeese State (615), Akron (620), Morehead State (621), Nothern Illinois (624), Western Kentucky (636), Austin Peay State (639) and Nebraska- Omaha (678).
