Racers Scrimmage Shows Improving Squad

The Murray State football squad continued spring practice Saturday with a mid-morning scrimmage at Roy Stewart Stadium in Murray, Ky.
MSU ran 61 plays and the scrimmage showed a squad that continues to improve.
The scrimmage was split as the first team ran 31 plays and the second team made 30 snaps.
The Racers used a rotation of four runningbacks.
CJ Bennett was 12-of-21 passing with a TD pass to Pokey Harris. KD Humphries was 9-of-18 passing and had a scoring play to Marcus Holiday.
Greg Willard and John Therrell intercepted passes.

The Racers next practice is Monday at 3 p.m. All MSU practices are open to the public and fans are invited to come out to Stewart Stadium and watch.
