Racers End Day Two of FAU Invite

RESULTS
The Murray State men's golf team finished round two of FAU Slomin Autism Invite this morning held at the Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, Fl. At the end of the day, the Racers finished 12th in the field of 15 teams with a team scores of 309-298=607.
UCF took the lead during the second round with a team score of 558, five-strokes over previous leader Georgia Southern who carded a team score of 563. Middle Tennessee State maintained its third place spot with a team score of 575.
Leading the Racers after the second round is Matt Zakutney, carding a rounds of 75-73=148 to tie for 26th place. Jordan Smith ended the day in 42nd place with scores of 76-75=151 while Jared Gosser carded rounds of 78-74=152 to take 46th place. Four strokes behind, Preston French fired rounds of 80-76=156 for 62nd place. Rounding out team play for the Racers was Duncan McCormick who shot 84-80=164 for 75th place.
Other team scores include:DePaul (578), Jacksonville (583), Connecticut (589), Hartford (591), Florida Gulf Coast (591), Florida Atlantic (592), Bethune-Cookman Col. (598), Stetson (600), Morehead State (633), Florida AtlanticB (637) and Lafayette (644).
The North Course of the Fountains Country Club is playing to a par of 71 and 6876 yards. The slope of the course is 135 and the rating is 72.8.
Round three will continue tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. ET.
