Tournament Central

Play in day three of the 2014 OVC Softball Championship has been canceled due to weather in the Jacksonville area. The first game of the day between Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech was stopped in the top of the sixth inning with the Gamecocks leading 3-0, due to lightning.

The Jacksonville State/Tennessee Tech game is scheduled to be resumed at 9 a.m., on Saturday. Murray State will now take on SIU Edwardsville in a winner's bracket game at 1 p.m, also on Saturday. A win would see the Racers advance to Sunday's championship game at 10 a.m., while a loss would send them to an elimination game at 6 p.m.
