Yin Places 3rd In China - Racers Finish Kentucky Open

Kentucky Open Results
Murray State's Yinta Min, a sophomore this fall with the Racer women's golf team, posted a third place finish this week in an event in China.
Yin carded rounds of 72-75-77=224 in an event that featured amateurs competing with professionals.
The event featured lots of rain during every round of the event.
In the meantime, on this side of the planet, a group of six Murray State golfers finished play in the Kentucky Women's Open in Nicholasville, Ky., at Keene Run Golf Course.
Sydney Trimble posted scores of 78-82=-160 to place 16th in a field of 57 players to earn the top finish among Racer players.
Other MSU finishes included Gina Nuzzo in 26th place with scores of 84-81=165 and Jacklyn Van Meter in 28th place with rounds of 85-81=166. Abbi Stamper had scores of 81-87=168 for a spot in 32nd place, while incoming freshman Anna Moore placed 39th with scores of 88-82-=170. Leah Rose Judd placed 52nd with rounds of 89-88=177.
The Kentucky Women's Open also features amateurs and professionals competing together in the same event.
Lindsay Gahm, an amateur, was the Kentucky Open champion with rounds of 71-70=141.
The Keene Run course played 6,245 yards and to a par of 72.Â
