Racer Baseball Begins Fall Practice

Murray State baseball opened inter-squad fall practice at Reagan Field Friday (Sept. 19). The fall session is a good time to work on fundamentals as the Racers will have lots of drills, pitching/batting practice, and inter-squad scrimmages.
MSU's roster features 10 new members including six pitchers, three infielders and one outfielder. From this group, two are freshman. The group adds onto 25 returners from the 2013-14 season.
The Racers have also added new coaches for the 2014-15 season; head coach Kevin Moulder, assistant coaches Andy Morgan, and Daniel Dulin.
Moulder took over the Racer program after seven successful seasons as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Saint Louis. He helped lead the Billikens to three-straight Atlantic 10 regular-season championships, two A-10 tournament championships and a pair of NCAA Regionals appearances.
