Richerson Wins Weekly Honor

Taylor Richerson ends the Racers' regular season with a bang as she takes home the last adidas® OVC Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Award. Weekly voting comes from the sports information directors from the member schools of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Richerson wins her second OVC Honor of the season based on her performance against Austin Peay in the Racers 2-1 victory in the regular season finale last week.

Richerson started the match against the Governors with a goal in the seventh minute. She also provided the assist in the match's game-winning goal. The victory would cap-off an incredible regular season for the Racers as Murray State is the first team in OVC history to go 10-0 in conference play.

The Racers' season continues as they host the OVC Tournament at Cutchin Field on Friday and Sunday. Murray State will face the fifth seed Morehead State on Friday at 2 p.m.
