Folke Named OVC Golfer of The Week

The Murray State's Moa Folke was named the Ohio Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office.
Folke, a sophomore from Tranas, Sweden, took second at the Chris Banister Golf Classic. She fired rounds of 73-72-73=218 and tied her best score in her short time at MSU. As a freshman last April, Folke scored a 218 at the Rebel Intercollegiate at Ole Miss.
Folke's award is the first for the Racers in the 2015-16 season.
The Racers return to action at the TPC River's Bend Invitational (Oct. 5-6) in Maineville, Ohio.
The MSU men's team has also received one OVC weekly honor this fall when Brock Simmons was named Player of the Week Sept. 23.
