Women's Golf Opener Changes Venue

Miller Memorial Golf Course

The Murray State women's golf event scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (Sep. 14-15) has been moved to Miller Memorial Golf Course in Murray, Ky. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held at Drake Creek Golf Course in Ledbetter, Ky.

The MSU Invitational will be contested over 36 holes with 18 holes being played both days. Monday's play begins at 11 a.m. and Tuesday's final round begins at 10 a.m.

A field of 13 teams is entered into the MSU Invitational as the Racers will compete against six Ohio Valley Conference schools including: Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, SIUE, Tennessee Tech and Tennessee State. Other teams playing at Miller Memorial include: Southern Illinois, Cumberlands, Indiana State, IPFW, Marshall and Lipscomb.
