The Murray State women's tennis team earned a victory on Saturday as they defeated Olivet Nazarene 7-0.
The Racers started the day winning the doubles point. Pairs Alina Schibol/Jeanne Masson and Megan Blue/Amina Hadzic were victorious in their matches which earned the point for the Racers.
In the singles matches, Erin Patton led the way defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-2. Masson also had a strong performance in the singles matches as she defeated her opponent 6-1. 6-2.
Head coach Jorge Caetano was very pleased with how his teamed performed today. "All the girls have done a really good job." said Caetano. "[Megan Blue] has started the year with two good wins at number one. That's huge for us."
The Racers will head to Louisville for their first road matches of the season as they take on the Louisville Cardinals on February 7.
