OVC Names Folke Co-Golfer Of the Week

Murray State's Moa Folke was named Co-Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the league from Brentwood, Tennessee. She shares the OVC weekly honor with Austin Peay's Taylor Goodley.
Folke, a junior from Tranas, Sweden, continued her great play in the fall season with a third-place finish at the Golden Eagle Jam in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She carded scores of 75-69-74=218 at Hattiesburg Country Club.
In four events this fall, she has posted one win to go with a third and fifth place finish.
The Racers as a team have been even better in posting two wins and two runner-up finishes.
With five rounds this fall at par or better, Folke is third in the OVC with a stroke average of 73.7.
The OVC award marks the second time this fall that Folke has been recognized and the fifth time in her career at Murray State.
MSU plays its final fall event (Oct. 17-18) in Germantown, Tennessee at the Memphis Invitational at Ridgeway Country Club.
