Twaddle Named To OVC All-Tournament Team

Murray State junior Jessica Twaddle was named to the 2016 OVC Softball All-Tournament team following the conclusion of the championship event Saturday at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama. This marks the Franklin, Tennessee native's second appearance on the team, after also earning the accolade in 2014.
Twaddle helped the Racers win a tournament game for the sixth consecutive season this past weekend by going 4-for-8, for an even .500 batting average. She tallied at least one hit in each game of the tournament, including a 2-for-2 performance against Jacksonville State in the opener.
In the season finale against Eastern Illinois, Twaddle blasted her fourth home run of the season and finished the game with 3 RBIs. She finished the three-game span with a slugging percentage of .875 and a walk in game three pushed her on-base percentage to .556.
