The Murray State women's golf team was honored by the 2015-16 Ohio Valley Conference Institutional Academic Achievement Award winner for their sport as they shared the award with Jacksonville State and Morehead State.

The award is presented annually to the member institution with the greatest percentage of its eligible student-athletes that earn a 3.25 grade point average or higher for that academic year.

Three Murray State student-athletes are among the All-America Scholars named by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Senior Sophie Hillier, Junior Sydney Kelley and sophomore Moa Folke were three of 30 student-athletes from the Ohio Valley Conference that were named to the honor.
