Folke Earns Weekly OVC Golfer Honor

Murray State junior Moa Folke was named Co-Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the week a day after she won the Chris Banister Golf Classic in Glencoe, Alabama.

From Tranas, Sweden, Folke helped the Racers to the title at Silver Spring Golf Club as she carded scores of
71-74-70=215 (-2). Her five-shot win was her first since winning the OVC individual title last spring at the end of her sophomore season. She currently has a 74.5 stroke average, tied for seventh in the OVC after two events.

Folke shared the award with Anna Magnusson of Morehead State.
