9/30/2016 8:13:00 PM | Men's Basketball
The Murray State men's basketball team got the 2016-17 preseason underway with their first official practice at the CFSB Center in Murray, Ky.
Coach Matt McMahon enters his second season at the helm of the Racers as the program looks for its 30th straight winning season, currently the fourth-longest streak in the nation at 29 in a row. One of the most successful college basketball programs in the nation, the Racers will be looking for their 25th Ohio Valley Conference regular season title and 16th OVC Tournament championship. If they can win the OVC Tournament, the Racers would appear in the NCAA Tournament for the 16th time.
Here are some important dates to remember.
