Last Time On Racer Soccer…
The Murray State Racers women's soccer team clinched their third straight Ohio Valley Conference regular season title with a 1-0 victory over Eastern Illinois Tuesday afternoon at Cutchin Field.

No Place Like Home
For the third straight year, the Racers will host the OVC Tournament, with the semifinal and championship game played at Cutchin Field.

One More For The Seniors
Sundays game against SIU Edwardsville will be the last regular season game for Destiny White, Lyssie Wright, Nyomi Devine, Harriet Withers, Aaron Lankster and Katie Gaskins

First Time For Everything
In the most recent coaches polls, the Racers have received votes for the first time in program history.

Where We Rank
The Racers continue to climb the rankings, now ranked 27th in the most recent RPI polls.

Did You Know......
The 2017 squad will be the first to allow 15 or fewer goals in the regular season. Currently with 10 goals allowed, 21 was the previous low

Records Are Meant To Be Broken
Setting new records for game winning goals, career goals, and career point, you'd think there isn't too left for Harriet Withers to break. She is now just one goal away from tying the single season record of 13 goals set in 2004.

You Can't Go Through Walls
Since letting up three goals to Little Rock on September 8, the Racers have allowed just three goals and recorded six of their seven shutouts in this span.

Shutouts Galore
Alex Steigerwald has compiled three straight shutouts in a row while making nine saves. She has also has eight total this year, which is tied for the most in program history.

Better Late Than Never
17 of the 25 goals scored by the Racers this year have come in the second half or in overtime.

Three's A Crowd
Three players, Withers, Watford and Kubin are now into double-digits in terms of points on the Racers.

We Run This Conference
You have to look back to the tail end of 2014, the first season under coach Groves, that the Racers lost a regular season OVC Game. That was on October 26 against the Bruins of Belmont, where the Racers fell 2-0. Since then, Murray State has gone on a 29-game and counting conference unbeaten streak.

Know Thy Foe
SIU Edwardsville currently sits in fourth place in the OVC standings with an overall record of 6-8-2 and 4-4-1 in the OVC. They are led by MacKenzie Litzsinger and Caroline Hoefert who each have four goals each. No one on the Cougars is at or above double-digits for points. Juli Rossi has played in 16 games this year, making 71 saves while letting up 23. She is 6-7-2 overall with a GAA of .755

Last Time They Met
It was last year in the OVC Tournament that these two teams faced off, with the Cougars stunning the Racers in overtime, winning 2-1 at Cutchin Field.

All Time Record
The Racers are just 2-7-1 all-time against the Cougars, with wins coming in 2011 and 2015 and the tie coming in the first game Murray and SIUE played in 2016.

Who's Next?
The Racers get a double bye into the semifinals and will wait to see who they will host on Friday, November 3.
