Moa Folke Named OVC Golfer Of The Week

Murray State's Moa Folke was named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Female Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office in Brentwood, Tennessee.

The Racers' senior from Tranas, Sweden, finished ninth in a field of 82 players at the Cardinal Cup held at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky. The reigning OVC Player of the Year had rounds of 78-71-74 to finish at 223 (+7). Folke currently ranks seventh in the OVC in stroke average (76.0).

Folke has won the OVC honor now in consecutive weeks.

Murray State will get the spring portion of the 217-18 season in late February when they visit the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. (Feb. 25-27).
