Withers and Devine Named To United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Teams

Harriet Withers and Nyomi Devine were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Teams, the coaches association announced Tuesday evening.
Withers, who was named to the All-South First Region Team, finished the year off with 12 goals and two assists for 26 points along with picking up the OVC Offensive player of the Year and was named to the OVC All-First Team.Â
Devine, who was named to the All-South Third Region Team, was a part of a stellar defensive unit that made it near impossible for opponents to score. Playing every game this year for the Racers, only 13 goals were scored against Murray State this year.
"I'm proud of both Harriet and Nyomi, these were well deserved awards for both of them. They've had great careers, winning three regular season championships and two conference championships. Their leadership, hard work and dedication has been tremendous the past four years," said head coach Jeremy Groves.
