With a pair of victories already in the books for the 2016-17 season, the Murray State women's golf team surged to the front of the Spring Citrus Challenge on Monday and take a three-shot.
Â
The Racers' 295 team score at Red Tail Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida was easily the low round of the 54-hole event and it gives them a chance Tuesday to win again.

Â
Lucila Puente's seventh place spot came from scores of 73-75=148, while Linette Holmsslykke was in 11th place after scores of 76-75=151. Jane Watts had a spot in 39th place on rounds of 79-78=157 and Raeysha Surendran was in 39th place with scores of 80-78=158.
