Baseball Officially Kicks Off 2018

The Murray State baseball team officially opened spring practice Friday afternoon at Reagan Field as the Racers begin their fourth season under head coach Kevin Moulder.
Opening day brought a five-inning intra-squad scrimmage for MSU as it looks to get back to the OVC Tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2009-10.
The Racers' 29 wins last season were the most since the 2009 season and the seventh most in program history as they made the OVC Tournament for the first time since 2010. MSU also won 15 OVC games for the second consecutive season, the most conference wins in program history.
MSU opens the season exactly three weeks from Friday as the Racers travel to Lawrence, Kan., for a three-game series with the Kansas Jayhawks.
