After extending their winning streak to seven over the weekend, the Murray State volleyball team claimed two OVC honors as senior Dacia Brown won OVC Offensive Player of the Week and sophomore Ashley McBee took home OVC Setter of the Week. It is the first time in each player's career they have earned the recognition.

Brown averaged 4.25 kills per set, tops in the conference, for a total of 34 kills while hitting an astounding .370. She only committed four errors in the two matches, including just one against JSU while racking up a career-high 20 kills. The redshirt-senior also tallied a season-high three service aces against TTU and had two blocks in each match.
McBee led the Racers with 87 assists, including a career-high 53 against JSU, for an average of 10.88 per set. Her precision passing helped the Races hit .309 in the two matches. McBee also contributed on defense as she tallied 23 digs and eight blocks and now has four double-doubles on the season, second on the team.
The Racers will look to extend their winning streak this weekend when they host Southeast Missouri, Friday at 7 p.m. and UT Martin, Saturday at 11 a.m. as part of Homecoming Weekend.
